The computer is an electronic device. It is a Machine that uses electricity. 🔌

🌎 Natural and Man-Made Things

Some things, like the sun, air, and water, occur in nature. These are called natural things and are not made by man. 🏞️

Following are examples of natural things:

Stars & Moon 🌙
Sea 🌊
Sun ☀️

The non-living things that are made by man are called man-made things 🛠️, such as an aeroplane, car, refrigerator, air-conditioner, etc. All machines are man-made things, but all man-made things may not be machines.

Some man-made things are not machines. For example: chair, school bag, pen, etc.

Machines are man-made things. They have the following qualities:

💡 Machines are made to do certain tasks.
💡 Machines make our work easier.
💡 Machines save our time while doing a task.
💡 Machines need some things, such as electricity, petrol or any other fuel to operate on.
💡 Machines facilitate better communication.
💡 Machines reduce the chances of committing mistakes.
💡 Machines reduce the cost of production.
