📌 USE OF CONJUNCTION - AND - BUT

(CONJUNCTION - AND - BUT - এর ব্যবহার)

Using but to show contrast:

• The sky is blue but grass is green.
• Milk is white but the banana is yellow.
• The rose is red but the lotus is pink.
• The sun rises in the east but sets in the west.

Using and to join similar ideas or items:

• You and I go to school.
• He and she come from school.
• Neeta and Latika draw a picture.
• Sultana and I do the sum.

More examples:

• A mango is sweet but grapes are sour.
• This tree is short but that tree is long.
• This and that cars are red.
